Traveling to Uppsala
Arlanda Airport (ARN)
Arlanda Airport is the biggest of Stockholm’s three airports and is most convenient when traveling to Uppsala since it is located right between Stockholm and Uppsala.
From any terminal at Arlanda Airport you can take Bus 801 to Uppsala Centralstation. Tickets for the bus cost 117 SEK if bought when boarding the bus. Tickets can only be payed by Debit or Credit card (no cash). The busses go every 30 minutes and it takes 45 minutes to reach Uppsala Centralstation.
You can also take the regional train called Pendeltåg from Arlanda Central which is located between Terminal 5 and Terminal 4. The tickets for the train cost 117 SEK and you have to pay an additional 120 SEK to enter the train station. Tickets can be bought before entering the train station. The trains go every 30 minutes and it takes 18 minutes to reach Uppsala Centralstation.
Bromma Airport (BMA)
Bromma is located in the west of Stockholm. You can first take bus 110 to Alvik and then the underground train 19 to Stockholm Central. Another option is to take bus 152 to Sundbyberg and the regional Pendeltåg to Stockholm Central from there. See below for further instructions on coming from Stockholm Central to Uppsala.
Skavsta Airport (NYO)
Skavsta is located 100km south of Stockholm and can be easiest reached by the Flygbussarna. The trip takes around 80 minutes and costs 139 SEK. See below for further instructions on coming from Stockholm Central to Uppsala.
From Stockholm, you can take the Pendeltåg line 40 which takes about an hour and costs 122 SEK. The Pendeltåg operates every half an hour. You can check the departure times on the SL Website. Another option are the regional SJ trains which need around 30 minutes and cost 105 SEK. Those trains operate irregularly and you should check the SJ Website for further information.
Traveling to the Workshop Venue
From the City Center you can take bus number 4 to reach the workshop venue. Take the bus at location B4 in the direction of Gottsunda Centrum and leave the bus at Polacksbacken. The workshop location is right across the street. The bus takes 10 minutes and one way costs 32 SEK. Tickets can be bought on board but a Debit or Credit card is required (no cash). The bus usually operates every 10 minutes and you can check the exact departure times on the UL Website.
